Large-Scale Ice Rink Project Completed in Germany

We’re pleased to share one of Sigmian’s recent key achievements — the successful completion of a large-scale installation of Stahlmann stainless steel corrugated tubes at the Sparkassen-Eisdom ice arena in Halle (Saale), Germany.

The project was implemented in close cooperation with our partner AST Eissport- und Solaranlagenbau GmbH, a specialist in ice rink and energy systems.

Stahlmann stainless steel corrugated tubes offer clear technical and practical advantages for ice rink applications. Compared to conventional piping systems, such as plastic pipes, stainless steel provides improved thermal conductivity, supporting efficient and stable cooling performance. At the same time, the system ensures excellent workability during installation.
The inherent strength of stainless steel guarantees long-term durability and a high level of operational safety. Thanks to the corrugated wall design, the tubes remain highly flexible and easy to handle, even in complex layouts. Proven connection fittings enable fast installation while ensuring secure and reliable system operation.

This project once again demonstrates the quality, reliability, and proven performance of Stahlmann solutions in demanding technical environments.
